We create breakthroughs by deeply understanding what motivates today’s consumers, and we use that as a foundation for powerful results. Essentially, we want to find the bull’s-eye before we shoot the arrows.
We approach market research projects with disciplined scientific methodology so that our results are unimpeachable. And our substantial experience in researching consumer attitudes in the heating oil, propane, HVAC and energy efficiency markets is unparalleled.
We are proud to have been chosen by the National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA) to conduct a study on Energy Efficiency Opportunities and the Heating Oil Industry. We were also recently chosen by 6 states to lead a landmark study of heating oil consumer attitudes and buying behaviors. You can view these studies below. And if you have any questions about any specific aspect of the study, its methodology, its findings, etc. please contact Ken Reese, our director of research, by email or by phone at 512-751-9343.
Conducted from May-August 2015 in 6 states, this is the largest study of oil consumer attitudes in more than a decade. The findings provide a roadmap for defending oil market share and deterring conversion, as well as many other insights which will help fuel dealers understand their customers better.
Conducted from June-September 2014, this study reviews the opportunities and challenges the oilheat industry faces as it tries to position oilheat as an efficient fuel, and oil dealers as the consumers’ partners in energy savings. It also makes recommendations for ways to leverage NORA funds to support this effort, in conjunction with the new NORA Energy Efficiency mandate.
