The Think Twice online marketing campaign was developed for the Fuel Merchants Association of New Jersey. Designed to “enter the conversation” of heating oil consumers who are considering converting to natural gas, the website has generated more than 100,000 visits with above-industry-standard time spent on page and pages viewed metrics. The site focuses on presenting simple data in an objective manner in order to hold a credible position in the mind of the homeowner.
The Propane North Carolina website was created to meet the water heater sales objectives of the North Carolina Propane Education and Research Foundation. Designed to generate more planned replacements rather than emergency replacements, to combat the forces that conspire to lead propane homeowners to convert to electric water heaters, and to educate the public about tankless water heaters, the site generated over 1,000 visits in the first 30 days of its launch with 75 rebate coupons downloaded. Plans now exist to expand the site to include information about propane backup heat systems for owners of electric heat pumps.
